Aether Therapeutics is an emerging biopharmaceutical company focused on curing diseases associated with the opioid epidemic and finding better therapies for pain. The Aether team combines decades of successful drug development experience focused on novel therapies to generate meaningful clinical outcomes.  Our initial application focuses on the cure and prevention of Neonatal Opioid Withdrawal Syndrome (NOWS) in neonates and also in pregnant mothers on chronic opioid therapy. Additional adult indications include withdrawal and weaning for opioid dependent patients for which there is no effective procedure reducing suffering and recidivism, and safer pain therapy with lower risk of dependence.    

 

We are a skilled drug development team, with long-standing expertise in pain and addiction disease biology, pharmacology, and translational medicine. Our collective experience ranges from identifying breakthrough cures to developing novel therapeutics in-house to successful multi-party collaborations with academia and government scientists to advance innovative therapeutics to desperate patients.  We search out the best collaborators to help advance our projects no matter where in the world they are performing their science.
